Software Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer II - Core Ingest.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend systems for processing petabytes of customer data
• Improve algorithms for scheduling load on clusters of thousands of machines
• Re-architect internal message processing technology to handle petabyte per day scale

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Computer Sciences or related discipline (M.S. a plus)
• 2+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of ownership and delivery
• Experience developing scalable distributed data processing solutions
• Hands-on object-oriented programming experience (e.g., Java, Scala)
• Experience in running large, scalable distributed services following a microservice architecture
