Software Engineer II

Job Summary

Focused on building systems for Detection's Model Platform, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will leverage AI tools to architect and maintain model serving infrastructure, ensuring a responsive experience for the ML and Data Science teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design, build, deploy, and maintain Model Serving infrastructure for the Detection Engine
• Own projects to scale model serving and data processing services to handle increased traffic
• Collaborate with MLE and Data Science teams to incorporate feedback and execute strategies

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on data solutions
• Proficiency with AI tools for software system design and implementation
• Experience maintaining large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with real-time data pipelines or streaming services
• Strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, and performance optimization, along with a BS degree in a related field
