Software Engineer II

Job Summary

Contributing to the design, development, testing, and delivery of high-quality software solutions, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will focus on building reliable systems that process and deliver meteorological data products using Python and C/C++.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software components for radar and weather data products
• Implement architectural designs and technical patterns as defined by senior engineers and architects
• Participate in technical design discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience in an industry environment
• Professional experience with Python and C/C++
• Experience working across the full Software Development Lifecycle
• Hands-on experience working with radar and weather data
