Software Engineer II

Job Summary

To support the Platform Transactions domain, the full-time Software Engineer II will build scalable and high-availability payment network components while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, reusable code and build products that perform, scale, and are fault tolerant
• Operate and scale rapidly growing products vital to partners, contributing novel ideas for system improvement
• Collaborate with product architects and stakeholders to create product requirements and mentor team members on coding practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of programming experience with distributed systems using Java technologies, particularly Core Java 11 or above
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and proficiency in SQL
• Experience with the Spring framework and strong computational skills in data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, REST services, and concepts related to performance, reliability, and security
