Software Engineer II

Job Summary

To support the delivery of impactful digital services, the remote Software Engineer II will estimate and complete development tasks, debug and optimize code, and participate in planning sessions while collaborating with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Estimates and completes development tasks including coding, requirements gathering, and analysis with moderate feedback
• Debugs, optimizes, maintains, and monitors work in both test and production environments
• Participates in planning sessions and design discussions to understand technical trade-offs and system interactions

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of engineering experience
• US Citizen with residency in the United States for three or more years out of the last five years
• Ability to undergo a background investigation for a Public Trust Security Clearance
