Software Engineer II

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Software Engineer II will ensure high-quality standards for various systems and applications within the Content Platforms & Operations portfolio, participating in production support and developing tools to manage system functionalities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for end users reporting issues or requesting assistance with supported systems and applications
• Triage, assign, prioritize, and resolve user-reported incidents and requests using a ticketing system
• Develop, expand, and administer system monitoring and production support tools while troubleshooting production support issues

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production support software engineering role
• Expertise in supporting and debugging applications using JavaScript (NodeJS, React), Java, SQL, and MongoDB
• Strong understanding of information security principles and networking fundamentals
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a comparable field of study
• Proactive work style with strong analytical problem-solving skills and effective collaboration abilities
