Software Engineer II

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative energy solutions, the full-time Software Engineer II will create and maintain quality code for power distribution equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a primarily remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and infrastructure in response to emerging business requirements
• Ensure application performance and maintain high standards of code quality and design
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to create reliable APIs and facilitate platform architecture standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
• 2+ years of software development experience, particularly in web applications
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and experience with AngularJS, HTML, and CSS
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and unit/integration testing experience
