Software Engineer II

Job Summary

Building innovative software solutions, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain tools that enhance the freight platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new features and functionalities for assigned software applications
• Utilize software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver new features and products in an agile environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 3 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, or C#)
• Experience with AWS services (IAM, S3, Dynamo) and debugging in shell
• Previous experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small tasks within a team
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for software functions
