Software Engineer II

Job Summary

To support the Azure Hyperscale Networking team, the full-time Software Engineer II will collaborate with stakeholders to define user requirements, contribute to design documentation, and implement code for network traffic engineering and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Determine user requirements for features by working with appropriate stakeholders
• Create and implement code for products, services, or features while reusing existing code as applicable
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system performance and address simple issues as they arise

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check
