Software Engineer II

Job Summary

To enhance the operational health of microservices, the hybrid Software Engineer II will manage the deployment lifecycle of over 200 microservices across 14 AWS EKS clusters, focusing on environment operations, automation development, and infrastructure work.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full deployment lifecycle for containerized applications, executing and documenting deployments from pipeline to pod validation
• Monitor and maintain the health of microservices, diagnosing and resolving issues related to pod crashes and configuration drift
• Develop Python-based automation tools for deployments, monitoring, and self-healing processes, while implementing CI/CD pipelines and operational best practices

Required qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Environment Management roles
• 3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, including troubleshooting production issues
• Expertise in AWS services such as EKS, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Intermediate or above Python automation skills with real-world experience in deployment orchestration
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD or equivalent GitOps tools
