Software Engineer II

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Software Engineer II will develop, implement, and maintain information systems and technologies for managing and analyzing research and clinical trials data, collaborating with researchers to design and implement software solutions that meet the needs of the Providence Research Network.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement information systems to support research and clinical trials data management
• Collaborate with researchers on system design, testing, and implementation
• Provide insights and advice to leadership on leveraging technologies for future research initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related specialty, or 4 years of related experience
• 2 years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer or in a similar role
• 2 years of experience with software versioning and release management
• 2 years of experience with server management
• 2 years of coding experience in Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, or similar languages
