Software Engineer II

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Software Engineer II to work remotely full-time, who will design, develop, and execute software solutions for Automated Tank Gauge systems while mentoring junior engineers and enhancing Agile team practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions to meet business needs on Automated Tank Gauge platforms
• Apply knowledge of new technology stacks and frameworks to improve team capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions and mentor junior engineers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages, preferably C++ or Java
• Project leadership experience is preferred
• Familiarity with continuous integration and automated testing technologies is beneficial
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and cloud services such as AWS or Azure is useful
