Software Engineer II

Job Summary

Passionate about building and optimizing distributed file systems, the full-time Software Engineer II will work collaboratively on the next generation of Azure Storage, focusing on coding, system monitoring, and feature development.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features
• Creates and implements code for products, services, or features while breaking down larger tasks into manageable work items
• Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system performance and address service interruptions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, or Java
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check
