Software Engineer II
Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Software Engineer II will design, develop, and deploy data solutions while optimizing data architecture and infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Leverage modern data management tools to design and optimize various data solutions, including OLTP and API/Microservices
- Transform legacy data structures into modern, secure solutions while ensuring data security and performance
- Design and implement Data Services (DaaS) and develop tooling for enhanced data pipeline automation and accuracy
Required qualifications:
- Strong experience coding with Java, JavaScript (Node.js), and Python
- Knowledge of design patterns for software and data engineering
- Experience in on-prem and hybrid cloud infrastructure, including service and cost optimization
- Familiarity with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL) and modern data sources (NoSQL), including cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proficiency with tools such as Hadoop Stack, Airflow, Kafka, and various data storage formats
