Software Engineer II
Job Summary
Focused on building scalable systems for Detection's Model Platform, the remote Software Engineer II will leverage AI tools to develop and maintain model serving infrastructure while collaborating with ML and Data Science teams.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, design, build, deploy, and maintain Model Serving infrastructure for a world-class Detection Engine
- Own and scale model serving and data processing services to accommodate significantly increased traffic
- Manage real-time and near real-time streaming pipelines and online feature serving services
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on data-driven solutions
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for software system development and implementation
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Hands-on experience with real-time data pipelines or streaming services
- BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field
