Software Engineer II
Job Summary
To support the Business Intelligence team, the full-time Software Engineer II will design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize data structures for reporting, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality and usability in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to enhance data architecture
- Optimize tables and views for efficient reporting and dashboard performance
- Collaborate with BI analysts to translate reporting needs into data models and pipelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with ETL pipeline development and data quality checks
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and strong SQL skills
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight
- Understanding of downstream data consumption and collaboration with stakeholders
