Software Engineer II
Job Summary
Focusing on the development and support of secure payment solutions, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will build EMV terminal applications, contribute to backend payment services, and assist with EMV certification and processor integration.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Ingenico terminal applications using Kotlin and implement EMV transaction flows
- Contribute to the development of secure RESTful APIs using .NET/ASP.NET core and support integrations with payment processors
- Assist in EMV Level 3 certification efforts and troubleshoot processor-level declines with guidance from senior engineers
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional software development experience
- Experience working on payment systems, financial systems, or API integrations
- Experience building RESTful APIs using .NET / ASP.NET core
- Experience developing Android applications using Kotlin
- Understanding of the payment transaction lifecycle from authorization to settlement
