Software Engineer II

Job Summary

To drive the development of backend features for flagship search and merchandising products, the full-time salaried Software Engineer II will independently manage end-to-end backend features and take technical ownership of Go microservices while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Independently own and deliver end-to-end features across search and merchandising backends from requirements through deployment
• Collaborate proactively with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to refine user stories and evaluate technical feasibility
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing production software while maintaining system performance SLAs

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional backend software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical work experience
• Strong experience building and maintaining distributed, cloud-based, high-availability systems
• Demonstrated ability writing production-grade Golang services
• Familiarity with modern data and deployment tools including Elasticsearch, Docker, and AWS
