Job Summary
Seeking a remote Software Engineer II, the position focuses on developing high-quality, accessible Angular web applications for the Ceres Adaptive Learning platform, enhancing learning experiences for K-12 students and teachers.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and development of applications and services to support business and engineering initiatives
- Build accessible student and teacher experiences through responsive design and adherence to WCAG 2.1 AA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature development and champion engineering best practices
Required qualifications:
- Experience with Angular 2+, TypeScript, NgRx, and RxJs in a distributed product environment
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, responsive design, and accessibility standards
- Ability to contribute to the full software development life cycle, including writing application code and tests
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset and empathy for end users
- Background in education technology or mission-driven industries is preferred
