Software Engineer II
Job Summary
Joining the Platform Operations team, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of internal platform tools and services, enhancing developer productivity across Fandango and related brands.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal platform tools and services
- Build and enhance backend services, APIs, and data models that support platform capabilities
- Develop user-friendly frontend experiences for internal tools using React and Next.js
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated programming experience through internships, co-ops, academic projects, or up to 2 years of professional software development experience
- Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript
- Exposure to modern web development frameworks such as React
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, databases, and software development fundamentals
