Job Summary

Joining a dynamic AI Platform team, the full-time remote Software Engineer II - AI will build services and APIs that power AI-driven educational experiences, focusing on RAG pipelines and model orchestration while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain services that deliver AI capabilities to users, including RAG pipelines and LLM orchestration
• Work across the backend stack primarily using Python, contributing to API development and database integration
• Write high-quality, tested code and participate in code reviews to ensure maintainability and reliability

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional software development experience with a focus on building and shipping features
• Proficiency in a modern backend language, preferably Python, with experience in API development and relational databases
• Demonstrated curiosity about AI and experience engaging with AI technologies as a software engineer
• Strong engineering instincts with a track record of writing tests and debugging production issues
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats
