Job Summary
Collaborating with a distributed team in a full-time capacity, the Software Engineer II - Data Engineering will implement and maintain Linux and cloud-based data management solutions, focusing on AWS-native data ingestion, ETL, and storage solutions to support data-driven analytics and machine learning.
Key responsibilities
- Create robust pipelines to process large volumes of data from vehicle fleets and simulations
- Build and support scalable data pipelines for machine learning training
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-based solutions that enhance product delivery
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience deploying and maintaining Linux systems or 0-3+ years with a Master's degree
- Experience with public cloud environments and various database architectures
- Practical experience with Docker and containerization
- Strong commitment to test-driven development and continuous integration practices
