Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Improve the Wikipedia product experience by fixing bugs and implementing new functionality
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and community members to iterate on new features
Write multilingual, accessible, and performant code using JavaScript and PHP

Required Qualifications

2-5 years of related professional or open-source software engineering experience
Experience with object-oriented development using scripting languages such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, or Ruby
Experience writing unit tests and using version control
Bachelor's degree in computer science or mathematics, or equivalent experience
Experience building a rich-text editor is a plus
