Software Engineer III

Job Summary

To modernize and scale infrastructure, the full-time Software Engineer III will design, develop, and scale backend services focused on subscription management, invoicing, and data syncing in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot for core functionalities
• Lead the migration of legacy services to a modern architecture while ensuring code quality through reviews and collaborative discussions
• Maintain high availability and security of services, focusing on accuracy in backend logic

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in backend software development with strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including coding, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with legacy code migration or refactoring in distributed systems
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Experience in fintech, payment systems, or big data/syncing pipelines is preferred
