Software Engineer III

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Software Engineer III will develop and maintain applications using Java, React, and microservices while mentoring junior developers and driving improvements in engineering processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Estimate and complete development tasks, including coding and requirements gathering, with minimal guidance
• Mentor junior developers and enhance team communication and technical skills
• Participate in planning sessions and on-call rotations, while assessing and diagnosing system issues

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of engineering experience
• Proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and React/Next.js
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, Oracle database, GitHub, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Understanding of business goals and the impact of technology on service delivery
• Progressive experience with relevant technologies and their interactions
