Software Engineer III

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership for a key workstream, the full-time remote Software Engineer III will guide design decisions, mentor engineers, and integrate AI capabilities into production workflows for inventory management, order routing, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and quality of services within the workstream, including inventory management and order fulfillment
• Lead the integration of AI capabilities into fulfillment workflows, ensuring reliable operational logic
• Act as the go-to technical decision-maker, mentoring engineers and facilitating design reviews without formal management authority

Required Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience building and shipping production backend systems
• Experience leading technical direction and mentoring within a team or workstream
• Strong fundamentals in backend engineering, including APIs and distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and event-driven architectures
• Exposure to e-commerce order management or logistics systems is a strong plus
