Job Summary
Designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack software applications, the full-time Software Engineer III will collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to create operations-friendly applications that support genetic lab testing, working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to make design and implementation decisions
- Define requirements with stakeholders and transform them into reliable applications
- Improve development processes and advocate for best practices
Required qualifications
- BS degree in computer science or a comparable program; MS preferred
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience with object-oriented programming in Java and web services (REST)
- Familiarity with relational databases and front-end web programming
- Healthcare IT experience is beneficial but not required
