Software Engineer III - Back End

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer III - Back End (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate and complete development tasks including coding, requirements gathering, and analysis
• Mentor junior developers and participate in on-call rotations as necessary
• Drive improvements in software engineering processes and practices through influential skills

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of engineering experience, or equivalent experience
• Experience with modern, open source software for backend web applications
• Proficiency in web development using open-source programming languages and frameworks
• Experience with developing and consuming web-based, RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub
