Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Imaging Science.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvements in the quality of thermal and VNIR data products
• Assess the radiometric accuracy of data products using ground truth and reference sensor data
• Contribute to the development of image processing pipelines with production-grade Python code

Required Qualifications

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and imaging science for space-based missions
• Advanced knowledge of data processing pipelines and calibration/validation methods
• Understanding of atmospheric correction methods and experience with radiative transfer tools
• Extensive experience writing production-grade Python code in a Linux environment
