Software Engineer in Test

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mid - Senior Software Engineer (SDET).

Key Responsibilities

• Own the release process, ensuring code readiness and upholding release criteria
• Shape the CI/CD pipeline, defining key gates and trustworthy signals for deployment
• Translate user journeys into structured test cases, executing them continuously to catch regressions

Required Qualifications and Education

• Solid programming fundamentals with the ability to write clean, maintainable test code
• Hands-on experience with the release process and shipping software reliably
• Experience designing or evolving CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions
• Experience writing automated tests across multiple layers, familiarity with TypeScript is a plus
• Self-directed and systematic, comfortable working asynchronously across time zones
