Software Engineer in Test
Job Summary
To ensure the performance and scalability of applications, the full-time remote Software Engineer in Test will design and execute automated performance testing solutions, analyze system performance data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute scalable performance test strategies for enterprise applications and distributed systems
- Analyze application performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization
- Integrate performance testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous performance validation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development, Software Engineer in Test, or Performance Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with k6 for performance testing
- Experience with InfluxDB and Grafana, including dashboard development and automated reporting
- Strong SQL querying skills, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server
