Software Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Owning the automated testing processes, the full-time remote Software Engineer in Test will build and maintain resilient end-to-end automation using Playwright in C#/.NET, conduct hands-on testing of new features, and enhance API test suites within CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on testing of new features, reporting defects, and automating tests that provide value
• Design and evolve end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright, focusing on the stability of tests
• Develop API test suites and integrate them into GitLab CI/CD to ensure reliable and fast validation of changes

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building or testing production software, with proficiency in C# or a comparable language
• Proven experience in owning end-to-end automation at scale, particularly with Playwright or similar tools
• Practical experience using AI coding tools for test writing and maintenance
• Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with API testing, SQL, and CI/CD pipeline authoring
