Software Engineer in Test

Job Summary

To enhance data science testing and automation capabilities, the remote Software Engineer in Test will build robust test infrastructure, troubleshoot automation issues, and improve the performance and reliability of automated test suites.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain test infrastructure for automated regression testing of data science microservices
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and high-impact test cases while collaborating with software engineers
• Identify and document product defects, ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a developer, SDET, or QA automation role
• Proficiency in Python, with additional coding experience in Ruby, Bash, or JavaScript being a plus
• Experience with testing APIs, databases, and testing frameworks such as Pytest
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like CircleCI or GitHub Actions and cloud solutions such as AWS
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and automated testing approaches
