Job Summary
Focused on ensuring high standards of software quality, the full-time remote Software Engineer in Test will collaborate with Java developers to create effective test strategies, develop automated testing frameworks, and execute performance tests for a real-time distributed storage and stream processing platform.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers to understand system architecture and create effective test strategies
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline
- Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests to validate application scalability and performance
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Java, including building test frameworks
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as JUnit
- Familiarity with performance benchmarking and resilience testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
