Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Job Summary

To support the transformation of the mortgage industry, the full-time remote Software Engineer - Infrastructure will focus on scaling and maturing infrastructure, building foundational systems for engineering velocity and platform reliability, including cloud architecture and internal developer tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate reliable distributed systems and cloud infrastructure at scale
• Build and maintain deployment systems, observability, and incident response mechanisms
• Enhance internal developer tooling to improve engineering efficiency and reliability

Required qualifications

• Experience with strongly typed programming languages such as C# or Go
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, including indexing and performance tuning
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
• Experience with major cloud providers like AWS or GCP and Terraform
• Strong background in building and operating infrastructure at scale
