Software Engineer - Integration Specialist
Job Summary
To support the future of digital banking, the full-time Software Engineer - Integration Specialist will design and develop API-based connections between core banking systems and digital platforms, working remotely to drive real-time data exchange for payments and analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful services and ETL jobs connecting core banking platforms with digital banking platforms
- Implement integrations using internal microservices and middleware to ensure scalability and centralized monitoring
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver integration features, while creating and maintaining documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on system integration/API development experience in financial services or fintech
- Proficiency with REST/JSON, XML/SOAP, and strong SQL skills with ETL/ELT experience
- Experience integrating with at least one credit union core platform and one digital banking platform
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, containers, and cloud services, preferably Azure
