Software Engineer IV

Job Summary

Leading a team of software engineers, the full-time salaried Software Engineer IV will architect, build, and maintain scalable software systems while driving the technical vision in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring high-quality software delivery and fostering a collaborative team culture
• Architect and develop robust Python backend services within a multi-cloud infrastructure, making critical technical decisions
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and partner with Product Managers to define technical roadmaps and deliver features on time

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 3+ years of experience managing or mentoring a team of software engineers
• 7+ years of programming experience in Python
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP
• Strong experience with Terraform and continuous integration/build tools
