Job Summary
To oversee application development and maintenance, the remote Software Engineer IV will manage the installation and configuration of systems, monitor application performance, and provide strategic recommendations to improve operations over a 5-month contract.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees development and installation of new hardware and software
- Identifies and resolves business systems issues while designing and deploying new applications
- Monitors system performance and trains junior engineers to enhance their skills
Required qualifications
- Seven years of experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Apache Hive
- Experience with Databricks Platform and Microservices Architecture
- Strong skills in Python for Data Analysis and Software Development
- Knowledge of REST API Development and Snowflake
