Job Summary
To support application development and maintenance, the remote Software Engineer IV (C#/.NET) will manage the migration of an existing .NET Framework 4.8 application to .NET 10, while ensuring smooth system operations and documentation of findings over a 5-month contract.
Key responsibilities
- Migrate an existing .NET Framework 4.8 application to .NET 10
- Support SQL Server database integration and migrate APIs and batch jobs currently running on .NET 4.8
- Quickly learn the application and environment to complete the migration within the limited engagement timeframe
Required qualifications
- 7 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in .NET C# and SQL Server
- Experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with Backend development and Web API
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Voltage SDK
