Job Summary
To support application development and maintenance, the remote Software Engineer IV (C#/.NET) will manage the migration of an existing .NET Framework 4.8 application to .NET 10, ensuring smooth system operations and documentation of findings over a 5-month contract.
Key responsibilities
- Migrate an existing .NET Framework 4.8 application to .NET 10
- Support the migration of APIs and batch jobs currently running on .NET 4.8
- Ensure SQL Server database integration and complete the migration within the limited engagement timeframe
Required qualifications
- 7 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in C# and related technologies (SSRS, SSIS)
- Experience with API integration and understanding of SDLC
- Familiarity with tools such as Atlassian, Jira, and Confluence
- Knowledge of Snowflake and testing frameworks like qTest
