Software Engineer (Java)

Job Summary

Joining the development team, the full-time Software Engineer (Java) will maintain and grow microservices for a payment gateway, collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code while supporting and resolving production issues
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle and create documentation for developed APIs

Required qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience developing Java-based web applications in an agile environment
• Familiarity with Spring framework, Spring Boot, Junit, Maven, and RabbitMQ
• Experience with distributed system architecture, RESTful services, and SQL databases
• Comfortable with software development using Visual Studio Code
• A strong desire to learn new technologies and demonstrate a growth mindset
