Software Engineer (Java & DevOps)

Job Summary

To support the design and development of enterprise applications, a contract Software Engineer (Java & DevOps) will work remotely, focusing on backend application development using Java and Spring Boot, while also managing DevOps tasks and infrastructure support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and operational workflows
• Troubleshoot application and environment issues, ensuring system stability and adherence to SDLC best practices

Required qualifications

• Mid-level experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Proficiency in building and maintaining microservices
• Working knowledge of Python and Linux fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Terraform and/or Ansible
