Software Engineer L2

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Software Engineer L2 to take ownership of the Finance and Accounting platform, working remotely to manage a data-intensive application that transforms financial data and automates processes for the F&A team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the codebase, including code review, architectural decisions, and quality assurance for a full-stack Python and TypeScript application
• Design and implement AI agents to automate support and billing processes, enhancing operational efficiency
• Ensure data integrity and financial correctness by managing data pipelines and implementing safeguards against inaccuracies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in shipping production software with strong fluency in Python and TypeScript
• Proficient in SQL and relational database fundamentals, with experience in building data-intensive applications
• Demonstrated experience with production cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or equivalent)
• Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Strong interest in financial data and a correctness mindset focused on ensuring accurate outputs
