Software Engineer Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer Lead in the Engineering Simulation Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape architecture for platform subsystems and ensure long-term performance and maintainability
• Own technical delivery of features from design through release and lead investigations of complex issues
• Conduct code reviews, partner with QA on test strategies, and document designs for knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in desktop software development
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++14 or later)
• Experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio (2019 or later)
• Experience working in large, legacy codebases with established patterns
