Software Engineer Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate hardware and software interfaces, develop specifications, and resolve customer problems
• Develop and direct software testing and validation procedures while advising on system maintenance
• Oversee software programming, documentation development, and inform stakeholders on project status and technical issues

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering and development
• Expertise in subsystems such as JES2, SDSF, RACF, TSO, TCPIP, Control-M, CICS, and DB2
• Strong knowledge of NetView customization and REXX programming
• Proficiency in z/OS (MVS) operations within large-scale environments
• Experience with system automation and debugging for problem resolution
