Software Engineer, Lending Products
Job Summary
To support the growth of Cash App's Lending products, the full-time Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance lending capabilities, lead projects from concept to production, and develop clean APIs focused on performance and compliance in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with credit risk, legal & compliance, and product managers to elevate Lending capabilities
- Lead projects from hypothesis to production, ensuring high-quality output
- Design and build API-level financial primitives to support the lending infrastructure
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in developing complex systems and delivering quality software
- Strong familiarity with Java, Kotlin, AWS, and microservices architecture
- Ability to embrace an AI-first mentality and leverage AI in development processes
- Resilience in navigating complex situations and ambiguity
- Experience with agentic engineering principles
