Software Engineer, Libraries Platform

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer (Libraries Platform) to lead the architecture and implementation of a secure and reliable platform for open source libraries.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the Libraries Platform, including services, pipelines, and package index for library workflows
• Maintain automation for artifact creation, updates, and verification, including vulnerability scanning and policy enforcement
• Develop shared platform services and internal developer tools to enhance library building, testing, and shipping processes

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure for language ecosystems or developer platforms
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) or readiness to learn quickly
• Experience in building developer tooling and automation for software delivery
• Background in CI/CD, cloud-native infrastructure, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
• Familiarity with reliability, observability, and performance tuning for critical services
