Software Engineer Metrics

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Metrics and Storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to scale metrics and storage systems for advanced customer needs
• Set technical direction while balancing near-term deliverables with long-term improvements
• Collaborate with product, revenue, and engineering teams to evolve the platform and mentor engineers

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on data platforms or distributed systems
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript, etc.)
• Experience designing and scaling customer-facing APIs in production
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Experience with systems such as MySQL, Postgres, Clickhouse, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, or Kafka
