Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Software Engineer, Networking to work remotely in the United States, responsible for designing and overseeing Tailscale's global Funnel and DERP relay infrastructure while enhancing product capabilities and troubleshooting complex networking issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, construct, evaluate, and document networking features and connectivity solutions
• Enhance product capabilities focusing on Funnel and DERP relay infrastructures and associated protocols
• Investigate and resolve complex network issues across varied technical environments

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in networking software development and troubleshooting
• Expertise in core networking principles such as VPNs, NAT traversal, routing, and IP addressing
• Experience with distributed systems and SRE & DevOps methodologies
• Familiarity with Go programming language is highly desired
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
