Job Summary
Passionate about decentralized technology, the full-time remote Software Engineer P2P will build a next-gen stack for resilient, decentralized search, focusing on peer-to-peer architecture and empowering users to create self-organizing search engines.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement decentralized search solutions without centralized indexing
- Collaborate with the team to enhance the performance and reliability of P2P networking protocols
- Conduct research and apply findings to improve distributed indexing and database technologies
Required qualifications
- Strong understanding of Kademlia DHT and distributed indexing techniques
- Experience with networking protocols for P2P, including TCP/IP and NAT traversal
- Familiarity with classical information retrieval topics and search engine architecture
